Overview

75 Arlington Street/10 St. James Avenue is among the Back Bay’s finest mixed-use assets. The 75 Arlington Street building, with 256,247 square feet in 10 stories, was built in 1913 and substantially renovated in 2013, originally served as one the home of Paine Furniture, one of Boston’s venerable early manufacturers and retailers. The building retains the charm of yesteryear with dramatic columns and rich historical detail while renovations have equipped it with modern infrastructure and mechanical systems. The 10 St James building, with 565,793 square feet, was built in 2000. This modern, 20 story glass and masonry tower, provides modern elegance and sophistication. Linking the old and the new is a dramatic glass-enclosed galleria which runs a fully city block from St James Avenue to Stuart Street.
